Softball Recap: Elizabeth Takes a Loss

Elizabeth lost against Anacoco back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Indians, falling 15-5. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Taylor Willis was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

Elizabeth's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Anacoco, their victory was their 24th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Elizabeth will head out to face off against Northwood at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Anacoco, they will square off against Grace Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight.
