Basketball Recap: South Eugene Victorious

South Eugene won the last time they faced Roseburg and things went their way on Friday too. In a tight game that could have gone either way, the South Eugene Axe made off with a 72-71 victory over the Roseburg Indians.

South Eugene's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Roseburg, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Grants Pass the next time they take the court. Roseburg will host Grants Pass at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, while South Eugene will host them at 6:45 p.m. on February 7th.
