Recap: Heights Bulldogs vs. Bellaire Cardinals

The Heights Bulldogs suffered their biggest loss since December 8, 2023 on Tuesday. Their rough 66-42 loss to Bellaire might stick with them for a while. While losing is never fun, Heights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 541st, while Bellaire is ranked 77th).

Heights' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Joseph Coleman, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Conor Mccarthy, who scored three points along with five rebounds and two blocks.

This is the second loss in a row for Heights and nudges their season record down to 13-16. As for Bellaire, the win (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 22-6.
