Baseball Recap: Ulysses Comes Up Short

Ulysses was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 5-2 to the Colby Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the first time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 8-1 defeat on Monday.

Ulysses' loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Colby, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Colby beat Ulysses by a score of 8-1 later that day.
