 After six games on the road, Mishawaka Marian is heading back home. They will take on the Mishawaka Cavemen at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Mishawaka Marian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5  runs per game  this season.
 Mishawaka Marian can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent  match  on Wednesday. They blew past Elkhart 12-1.
  Cole Hundt was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he  pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off   six  hits. Hundt has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive pitching appearances. Hundt was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Evann Schmidtendorf and  Bryce Lasane did most of the damage at the plate:  Schmidtendorf  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI, a  triple,  and a  run, while  Lasane  scored a  run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Bryan Curylo, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Mishawaka lost  9-3 to New Prairie on Friday. Mishawaka has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
  Shawn Nowacki was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.
 Mishawaka Marian pushed their record up to 17-9 with that  win, which was their eighth straight  on the road. As for Mishawaka, their loss dropped their record down to 13-12.
