Soccer Recap: Cummings Takes a Loss

Cummings lost against Williams back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cavaliers came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 5-0. That's two games in a row now that Cummings have lost by exactly five goals.

Cummings' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Williams, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 5-3-2.

Looking ahead, Cummings will venture away from home to face off against Southeast Alamance at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Cummings' defense better be ready for this one: Southeast Alamance have averaged an impressive 3.5 goals per game this season. As for Williams, they will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Graham at 6:00 p.m. Williams will be up against Graham's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.17 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
