Lucerne Valley hadn't done well against Hesperia Christian recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Mustangs managed a 47-42 victory over the Patriots. For the Mustangs, this counts as revenge for the 78-26 win the Patriots walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2022.

Despite the loss, Hesperia Christian still got an impressive performance from Edward Ibrahim, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Davide Marenco, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds.

The victory made it two in a row for Lucerne Valley and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Hesperia Christian, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
