Football Game Recap: Ainsworth vs. Boyd County

Ainsworth had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 26-18 win over Boyd County. The success made it back-to-back wins for Ainsworth.

Among those leading the charge for Ainsworth was junior Oren Pozehl, who passed for 147 yards and 3 touchdowns. In fact, with 18 tackles Pozehl was a force on both sides of the ball. On the defensive end, junior Jon Ortner was a one-man blockade for Ainsworth with three sacks and ten tackles.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Ainsworth will stay at home next week against North Central at 7:00 PM. Those two teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins. As for Boyd County, they will face off against Creighton. Creighton have averaged 42 points over the course of their past seven games, so Boyd County might be in for a challenge.
