Soccer Game Preview: Uintah vs. Timpanogos

Uintah hasn't had much luck against Timpanogos recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Utes will welcome the Timberwolves at 3:30 p.m.

Uintah fell victim to Orem and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers.

Meanwhile, Timpanogos came tearing into Thursday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.3 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. Timpanogos' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matches.

Lewis Peterson was the driving force of Timpanogos' attack as he scored both of Timpanogos' goals, bringing his season total up to 13 goals.

Timpanogos' win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Uintah, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.
