Last Saturday, Academy for Classical Education earned a 46-38 victory over Pike County.

Meanwhile, Georgia Military College was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 23rd straight defeat dating back to last season. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 46-40 heartbreaker at the hands of Aquinas.

Academy for Classical Education will have to contain Benjamin Vaughn as he made an impact in Georgia Military College's last game. He went 5 of 11 en route to 15 points. Those 15 points gave Vaughn a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Damien Moore, who posted six points and 11 rebounds.

Academy for Classical Education now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Georgia Military College, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.
