Basketball Game Preview: Yuma Criminals vs. Kofa Kings

The Yuma Criminals just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Kofa Kings at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kofa took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Yuma, who comes in off a win.

On Wednesday, Yuma earned a 66-54 win over Cortez.

Meanwhile, Kofa was not able to break out of their rough patch last Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 64-43 to South Mountain.

Yuma is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points over those games. As for Kofa, their loss dropped their record down to 8-13.

Everything came up roses for Yuma against Kofa when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 46-17 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Yuma since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
