Football Recap: Culver City Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Culver City, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Beverly Hills Normans by a score of 20-13 on Thursday. The Centaurs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Normans, too.

The critical scores for Culver City came from Hailey Gonzalez, Kennedy Naylor, and Nia Jones.

Culver City didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. Naylor picked up that interception and then proceeded to rub salt in the wound by taking it back the other way for a touchdown. She got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Culver City's victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Culver City didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 31-6 win against Immaculate Heart on the 9th. As for Beverly Hills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 52-0 loss against Santa Monica on the 11th.
