After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hamilton, Basha was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Chandler Wolves 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on October 6th.

Basha walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-23, 25-23.

Halle Cocking paced Basha's offense, picking up 18 kills. Cocking got some help from Gabrielle Duran and her 19 assists. Duran also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kaylie Lynar, each putting up two.

With the victory, Basha broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 18-12. As for Chandler, they dropped their record down to 3-27 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Basha is set to square off against their familiar foe Casteel at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Chandler will take on rival Hamilton at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
