Volleyball Recap: Southside Christian Takes a Loss

Southside Christian was the 2-1 winner over Greer when they last played one another back in September of 2015, but their luck changed this time around. The Sabres fell 2-0 to the Yellow Jackets on Saturday. The Sabres have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Southside Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Greer, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-5.

Looking ahead, Southside Christian will host St. Joseph's Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greer, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Chesnee on the 27th.
