Volleyball Recap: East Jessamine Comes Up Short

East Jessamine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Marion County Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in March.

East Jessamine's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Marion County, they moved to 6-8 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

As of now, neither East Jessamine nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
