Basketball Recap: Jakori Pinelle's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Alcovy over Carver + How To Watch

Alcovy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 62-57 heartbreaker at the hands of the Carver Panthers.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jakori Pinelle, who posted 19 points. Another player making a difference was Antione Graves, who had 13 points.

Alcovy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Carver, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alcovy will take on Ola at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Carver, they and Woodland will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest, having both just played. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Wolfpack have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
