Syracuse was led to victory by Cy Petersen, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Petersen rushed for 146 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023.
Falls City had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Petersen it was a similar story. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Petersen saw the Tigers), he rushed for 116 yards and three touchdowns.
