Volleyball Recap: Buhach Colony Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Buhach Colony was the 3-1 winner over Merced when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Thunder fell 3-1 to the Bears on Thursday.

Buhach Colony couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Merced a tough time in the first set. The final score came out to 31-29, 20-25, 25-16, 25-20.

Taylor Martin paced Buhach Colony's offense, picking up 19 kills. Martin got some help from Mckenna Hill and her 47 assists. Martin was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Buhach Colony's defeat dropped their record down to 16-12. As for Merced, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-16 record this season.

Buhach Colony will challenge Golden Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Thunder are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Merced, they will take on El Capitan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
