Parkland won the last time they faced North Forsyth and things went their way on Monday too. The Mustangs walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Vikings. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Parkland had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-18, 25-20, 25-18.

Eva Venturi paced Parkland's offense, picking up 12 kills. Venturi were helped by Braelyn Dillard and Kie'Erra Quincy, who contributed eight assists each. Venturi was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Parkland's win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Parkland is taking a road trip to square off against Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Forsyth, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against R.J. Reynolds at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
