Mt. Markham put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Cooperstown Hawkeyes as the Mt. Markham Mustangs made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in December of 2024.

Mt. Markham's got stronger as the match went on, holding Cooperstown to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-22, 25-16.

Layla Rice paced Mt. Markham's offense, picking up 15 kills. Rice got some help from Addison Jones and her 25 assists. Alexandria Graziano controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Mt. Markham's win was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-0. As for Cooperstown, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Mt. Markham has already played their next match (against Waterville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Cooperstown has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Sauquoit Valley.
