Volleyball Recap: Andrew's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Andrew walked away with it. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Kankakee Kays on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in April.

Scott Dinnon paced Andrew's offense, picking up six kills. Dinnon got some help from Aidan Aguayo and his 16 assists. Aguayo also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Carter Obrochta, racking up two apiece.

With the victory, Andrew broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 14-22. As for Kankakee, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.

Andrew has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Oak Forest on the 27th. Kankakee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
