Volleyball Recap: Everglades Takes a Loss

Everglades lost against South Plantation back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Gators fell just short of the Paladins by a score of 3-2. The Gators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Everglades actually scored more points across those five sets (101-98), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-17, 18-25, 14-25, 25-20, 16-14.

Everglades' defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for South Plantation, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Everglades will square off against West Broward at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for South Plantation, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against South Broward on the 3rd.
