Softball Game Preview: Forbes Road vs. Everett Warriors

Forbes Road hasn't had much luck against Everett recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. Forbes Road will venture away from home to take on Everett at 4:30 p.m.

Forbes Road is headed into Wednesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their ninth straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hancock.

Forbes Road saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kinsley Small, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Another was Ginnah Kendall, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Everett had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Rockets. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Warriors have posted since May 14, 2024.

Forbes Road's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Everett, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.

Forbes Road suffered a grim 11-0 defeat to Everett when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can Forbes Road avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
