Basketball Recap: Arcadia Takes a Loss

Arcadia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the West Salem Panthers, falling 72-31. The contest marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Arcadia's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for West Salem, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Arcadia and West Salem should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. Arcadia (ranked 203rd) will meet Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau (ranked 439th) at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, West Salem will challenge Westby at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 275 places (57 vs. 332).
