Volleyball Recap: Mauston Takes a Loss

Mauston lost against Wisconsin Dells on October 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Golden Eagles fell just short of the Chiefs by a score of 2-1. The Golden Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Breanna Heller paced Mauston's offense, picking up five kills. Heller were helped by Ellie Pouillie and Rylea Mehne, who contributed six assists each. Lillyan Wilke controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Mauston's loss dropped their record down to 22-11. As for Wisconsin Dells, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-15 record this season.

As of now, neither Mauston nor Wisconsin Dells have any future games scheduled.
