Softball Recap: Four Straight Road Wins for Cascade Christian

Cascade Christian won the last time they faced Chimacum and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Cougars came out on top against the Cowboys by a score of 10-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Cascade Christian pushed their record up to 11-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Chimacum, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cascade Christian will host Seattle Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so the Cougars' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Chimacum, they will welcome Tenino at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Beavers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.75 runs per game on average), something the Cowboys will no doubt try to take advantage of.
