Football Recap: Pleasant Hill/Western Takes a Loss

After soaring to 40 points the game before, Pleasant Hill/Western was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They took a blow against the Camp Point Central Panthers, falling 60-8. The Wolves were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 52-0.

Camp Point Central was led to victory by Curtis Rigg and Kale Niekamp. Rigg rushed for 124 yards and one score, while Niekamp rushed for 33 yards and one TD. Rigg didn't just play on offense: he also forced one fumble and made one tackle. Jackson Fowler was another key back, rushing for 69 yards and one touchdown.

Pleasant Hill/Western's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Camp Point Central, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.
