Softball Recap: Highland Comes Up Short

Highland came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Pocahontas Redskins, falling 10-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Rebels in their meetings with the Redskins: they've now lost four in a row.

Charslee Goodman made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.

Highland's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Pocahontas, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Redskins beat Highland by a score of 20-4 on Thursday.
