Softball Recap: Glenn Starts off Right with Win over Kouts

Glenn had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They had just enough and edged out the Kouts Mustangs & Fillies 5-4. This was payback for the Falcons, who suffered a 9-8 loss the last time these two teams met.

McKenzie Timm spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on five hits.

On the hitting side, Payton Thomas was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double.

Kouts' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Glenn will take on Westville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Kouts, they will be playing at home against Wheeler at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
