Soccer Recap: Calaveras Takes a Loss

On Tuesday, the Calaveras Red Hawks didn't have quite enough to beat the Riverbank Bruins and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Red Hawks have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Derek Duhamel, who's now up to three this season.

Calaveras now has a losing record at 7-8-2. As for Riverbank, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-8-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calaveras will host Summerville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Summerville's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last five matches. As for Riverbank, they will welcome Bret Harte at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
