Meanwhile, Andover sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Central Catholic on Monday.
Andover had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 24-26, 21-25, 25-23, 25-23, 15-7.
Kate Hillson was a one-man wrecking crew for Andover as she had 19 digs and two aces.
She wasn't the only good server: Andover was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 21 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2023.
