Dulce's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Aaryonna Vigil, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 15 rebounds, and Maddison Vigil, who posted 15 points. Aaryonna is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last six games she's played.
Even though they lost, Dulce smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Questa hadn't done well against Taos recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Questa snuck past Taos with a 41-36 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.
Questa's win came from a few key players Dulce will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Alyse Lovato, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Kamryn Cardenas, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine boards.
Questa's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-2. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.0 points per game. As for Dulce, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Dulce has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 30.4 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Questa struggles in that department as they've been averaging 31.2 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.

A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Lovato, who posted 23 points in addition to eight boards and five steals.
