Volleyball Recap: Clay County Takes a Loss

If Clay County was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Barbourville on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers fell 2-0 to the McCreary Central Raiders on Saturday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Clay County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for McCreary Central, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.

Coming up, Clay County will be playing at home against Non Varsity Opponent at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McCreary Central, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Corbin on the 30th.
