Upper Cape Cod RVT hadn't done well against Southeastern RVT recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Rams blew past the Hawks 3-0. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Rams this season.

Upper Cape Cod RVT walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-21, 25-18.

Upper Cape Cod RVT was led to victory by Nigella Johnson and Lia Estes. Johnson had 15 digs and two aces, while Estes had eight digs and three aces. Johnson has been hot, having posted 15 or more digs the last five times she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Upper Cape Cod RVT was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 29 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Upper Cape Cod RVT has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-11 record this season. As for Southeastern RVT, their loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-14.
