Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Gavin Fielding stepped things up a notch to give White River the 'W'. Fielding produced his best game of the campaign: he tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because White River is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 4-6 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Fielding and White River will be playing in front of their home fans against Federal Way at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles will enter the matchup having just beaten Auburn Mountainview, so the Hornets will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
