Volleyball Recap: Falls Lake Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Falls Lake can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Triangle Math & Science Tigers on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-2 loss two weeks ago.

While Falls Lake was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Triangle Math & Science's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-21, 25-23.

Falls Lake has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Triangle Math & Science, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-5.

As of now, neither Falls Lake nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
