Luella had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 37-point drubbing they dealt Douglass on Tuesday. The Luella Lions breezed by the Douglass Astros to the tune of 66-29. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 22 points or more this season.

Luella was led to victory by Jasmine Baxter and Angel Thomas. Baxter dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds, while Thomas went 7 of 11 en route to 21 points and three steals. Baxter is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least nine every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Journey Bryant, who posted ten points and three steals.

Luella smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 17 offensive rebounds in three consecutive matches.
