Baseball Recap: Northeast Comes Up Short

Northeast lost against Roman Catholic back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Northeast lost 14-2 to Roman Catholic.

Calvin Castro made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Northeast's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Roman Catholic, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Northeast will head out on the road to square off against Frankford at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Roman Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Neumann-Goretti at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be Roman Catholic's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
