Volleyball Recap: Canyon del Oro Comes Up Short

Canyon del Oro lost against Cienega back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Dorados came up short against the Bobcats, falling 3-0. The Dorados have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-11, 25-14.

Mason Boothe paced Canyon del Oro's offense, picking up four kills. Boothe got some help from Isaac Rivas Dauria and his nine assists. Rivas Dauria was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Canyon del Oro's loss dropped their record down to 12-16. As for Cienega, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-5.

Canyon del Oro didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Desert View on the 25th. As for Cienega, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Catalina Foothills on the 25th.
