North Valley Christian Academy fell victim to Glendale Prep Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 17-0 to the Griffins. Having soared to a lofty 32 runs in the game before, the Lions' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

North Valley Christian Academy's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Glendale Prep Academy, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-4.

North Valley Christian Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Kingman Academy at 3:45 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Glendale Prep Academy, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 23-0 victory against Tempe Prep on the 12th.
