Volleyball Recap: Springstead Find Success

The Springstead Eagles were able to grind out a solid win over the Memphis East Mustangs on Friday, taking the game 2-0.

Paloma Verde paced Springstead's offense, picking up nine kills. Verde got some help from Mackenna Chambers and her 14 assists. Chambers was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Springstead now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Memphis East, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Springstead didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Astronaut on the 29th. As for Memphis East, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Bullard on the 29th.
