Baseball Recap: Atlantis Comes Up Short

After flying high against Rising Tide on Monday, Atlantis came back down to earth. Atlantis took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cape Cod RVT Crusaders on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Cape Cod RVT this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-5 last Tuesday.

Atlantis saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Devon Paradise, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. Paradise is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Atlantis' defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Cape Cod RVT, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.

Looking ahead, Atlantis will square off against Norfolk County Agricultural at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cape Cod RVT, they will face off against Nantucket at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
