Softball Recap: Renaissance Academy's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

Renaissance Academy won the last time they faced The Christian Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Knights walked away with an 18-13 win over The Christian Academy. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Knights as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Sam Reynolds was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and two stolen bases. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Allison Sautner, who scored two runs and stole six bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Renaissance Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for The Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Renaissance Academy will welcome Delaware County Christian at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for The Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against King's Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
