North Montgomery comes up short despite Cameron Enlow's dominant performance

Recap: North Montgomery Chargin' Chargers vs. Taylor Titans

On Saturday, North Montgomery came up short against Taylor and fell 47-34. North Montgomery has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why North Montgomery lost, one person who can't be blamed is Cameron Enlow. Despite the final result, he scored 13 points. Ross Dyson was another key contributor, scoring eight points.

Taylor found their leader in underclassman Javionne Harris, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Keyshawn Galloway, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and five assists.

North Montgomery now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Taylor, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Montgomery will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Danville at 7:30 p.m. on January 12, 2024. Taylor will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Rossville at 7:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Rossville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
