Baseball Recap: Williams Field Falls to Warren in First Game of Season

Williams Field unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Warren Bears by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Black Hawks have suffered since February 22, 2024.

Williams Field saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Malcom Harrison, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

The victory made it two in a row for Warren and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Coming up, Williams Field will face off against Mesa at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Warren, they will challenge Poston Butte at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
