Basketball Recap: Guernsey-Sunrise Comes Up Short

Guernsey-Sunrise pushed their score to 60 the last time they played Kaycee, but on Saturday they couldn't quite do it again. The Guernsey-Sunrise Vikings took a 31-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kaycee Buckaroos. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Buckaroos apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

Guernsey-Sunrise has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Kaycee, the victory snapped their losing streak at ten games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-7 record.

Guernsey-Sunrise didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-36 loss against HEM on the 21st. As for Kaycee, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Casper Christian at 5:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
