East Poinsett County hadn't done well against Rector recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The East Poinsett County Warriors were the clear victor by a 55-33 margin over the Rector Cougars. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 22 points or more this season.

East Poinsett County found their leader in sophomore Allison Gaines, who posted 18 points. With that strong performance, Gaines is now averaging an impressive 15 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyla Harston, who had eight points.
