Volleyball Recap: Menomonee Falls Finds Playoff Glory Versus Neenah

It's playoff time, and Menomonee Falls had no trouble coming through when it counted. They skirted past the Neenah Rockets 3-2. The win was familiar territory for the Phoenix, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Menomonee Falls took Neenah into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-11, 23-25, 24-26, 15-10.

Menomonee Falls can attribute much of their success to Addie Bruns, who had ten digs and four aces. That's the most digs Bruns has posted over her last 12 matches.

Despite the loss, Neenah still got an impressive performance from Ella Lindgren, who had 24 digs and three aces. Lindgren is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last five games she's played. Finley Kelley was another key player, getting 20 assists and four digs.

Menomonee Falls' victory bumped their record up to 32-9. As for Neenah, their loss dropped their record down to 20-15.

Menomonee Falls has already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Slinger on the 30th. Neenah does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
