Baseball Recap: Charlestown Has No Trouble Against Everett

Charlestown hadn't done well against Everett recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Townies blew past the Crimson Tide 19-5. The result was nothing new for the Townies, who have now won seven matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Charlestown is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Everett, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-6.
