Basketball Recap: Brooks Takes a Loss

Brooks was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat. They were dealt a 74-30 loss at the hands of the Lauderdale County Tigers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 83-20 back in December of 2024.

Brooks' defeat dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Lauderdale County, they pushed their record up to 20-1 with the victory, which was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season.

When Brooks and Lauderdale County next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Brooks will try to stop Hartselle's five-game winning streak when the meet at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Lauderdale County will take on Deshler and their 14-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
